Mr. Md. Fayaz Alam is the Deputy Managing Director of Janata Bank PLC. He possesses a distinguished and accomplished banking career spanning over two decades. Mr. Fayaz Alam commenced his banking journey in 1998 as Senior Officer with Rupali Bank PLC., Bangladesh. In April 2024, he joined Janata Bank PLC. as Deputy Managing Director. Throughout his extensive career, Mr. Fayaz Alam has amassed significant expertise in various fields- including Human Resources, Corporate Banking, Consumer Banking, International Business, Premium Banking, Retail Banking, SME Banking, Compliance, Credit Administration, Research and Planning, Reconciliation, Card Division, Legal, Engineering, Audit & Inspection, Monitoring Division, Sustainable Finance etc.

Mr. Md. Fayaz Alam holds both Graduate and Postgraduate degrees in Bengali from the University of Dhaka, distinguished by his exemplary academic performance. He also completed M. phil Degree from the University of Dhaka. He participated in various training courses and workshops, both locally and internationally.
